Abstract

PURPOSE: To maintain the air pressure at a constant level while preventing the spillage of liquid in case of the atomizer fall by normal closing of the air vent while opening thereof with the decrease of liquid in the vessel by means of a valve body adapted to open or close the air vent provided on the base.
CONSTITUTION: A base 2 is provided at the lower inside of a case body 1. A liquid vessel 3 is removably mounted to the base 2 with the upper open end 3' screwed on a cylindrical section 2' thereof. The vessel is provided with a suction pipe 4 and a packing 5 to be retained hydraulically sealed. A suction passage 7 is provided between the pump body 6 and the base 2 and communicated to the suction pipe 4. A discharge pipe 8 is provided on the pump body and communicated to an atomizer 9 arranged at the upper inside of the case body 1, while the atomizer 9 is provided with a atomizing nozzle 10. An air vent 30 is provided on the base 2 corresponding to the valve body housing section 29. The lower open end of the valve body housing section 29 is fitted with a fixing means 31 having a through hole 32. In addition, a ball-shaped valve body 33 is provided in the section 29 to normally close the air vent 30 with a coil spring 34 interposed between the fixing means 31 and the valve body 33.
