Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a pulse phase shifter featuring a high resistance to the distortion of the power source waveform by connecting the AC power source and the driving power source (DC power source) via the delay circuit and the Zener diode.
CONSTITUTION: Phase shifter A shows one phase component, and the synchronous power source is the delay circuit comprising resistances R1 and R7 plus capacitor C1 to prevent transistor T1 from being turned on and off in case the synchronous power source has distortion. Transistor T1 is turned on when the synchronous power source is positive and then turned off when the power source is negative respectively. The connection to the integrating circuit, i.g., the level conversion is carried out by Zener diode ZD, thus omitting the conventional capacitor. In such way, the delay circuit and diode ZD form the synchronous power source circuit, thus eliminating the differenctial operation. As a result, a pulse phase shifter can be obtained which features a high resistance to the power source waveform distortion.
