Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a film excellent in the haze, twist retention ratio and Young's modulus by vertical uniaxial stretching of material film made of a specific high density polyethylene and ethylene-α-olefin random copolymer.
CONSTITUTION: A copolymer composition made of (A) 95 to 60 part by weight of a high density polyethylene with a density of 0.94 to 0.97 g/cm3 having a value MI10/MI2.16 calculated from MI2.16 measured by the method prescribed in ASTM D-1238-52T and MI10 determined by this method with the load as 10 kg and (B) 5 to 40 part by weight of ethylene-α-olefin copolymer containing ethylene at a content of 60 to 95% by mole are molded to produce a material film. This film is stretched uniaxially in the vertical way at the stretching ratio of more than four fold preferably more than seven fold.
