Abstract

PURPOSE: To rapidly perform coyping of plural sheets by combining a data direction changeover switch and a system control mechanism.
CONSTITUTION: In the case of performing only one sheet or the first sheet of plural sheets, a system controller 2 commands the data read from an AD converter 4 to a memory device 5 through a control line 10 and so commands a memory switch 9 that the data in the direction of the arrow are passed in a bus 8 through a bus direction selecting control line 11. As a result, the image data are applied to a plotter device 6 which in turn outputs the images and the data for one image plane component are taken into the device 5. Next, for the second and subsequent sheets of the multiple sheet copying, the controller 2 causes the image data for one image plane component having been stored in the device 5 to be read out and so commands the switch 9 that the data in the arrow b direction may be passed, and therefore the data are given from the device 5 to the device 6, whereby the images are reproduced. Thereby, fast copying operation is accomplished irrespective of the quantity of sheets.
