Abstract

PURPOSE:To let light emission preparation completion display and make possible the use of a miniature lamp, LED, etc. as a display element by driving the display element by the voltage on the primary side of the power source circuit of a flash device. CONSTITUTION:When a flash device is mounted to an accessory shoe 22 and switches S6 and S7 are closed, a main capacitor C2 and triggering capacitor C3 are charged by a power source E2 and boosting circuit 21 or the like. As C2 is charged, a neon tube L2 goes on. When a release lever is depressed, S1 closes and the current is supplied from the power source E2 via transistor Q to a magnet Mg and a lamp L3 which lights up only when the preparation for flash photography is over. Mg attracts an iron core and L3 is lighted, whereby feasibility of the flash photography is announced.
