Abstract

PURPOSE: To achieve uniform heating and heat-accumulating as well as good reservation in a heat accumulator utilized for hot heat-pad and the like by providing passages for fluid within the heat accumulator main body and constituting so as to heat it with current of heating fluid.
CONSTITUTION: A heat accumulator is constituted so that heating fluid 2 such as water, air or the like is flown within a cylindrical body 1 as a principal portion of the heat accumulator. The cylindrical body 1 is formed by an elastic body, made of rubber or the like, containing heat accumulating particles 3 sealing therein a substance having large latent heat of fusion such as paraffin. The particles 3 are wax- microcupsules sealed within outer shells of elastic materials or metallic substance. This heat accumulator can warm a diseased part of a human body, for example, with the cylindrical body 1 heated by the heating fluid 2, also, can be utilized as a hot heat-pad of heat-accumulating type by warming the cylindrical body 1 to a temperature of more than the melting point of the paraffin sealed in the particles 3.
