Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the subject incinerator wherein slurry-like calcium compounds are passed through an exhaust gas flue and fed onto the surface of a furnace waste layer, whereby reaction zones for removing hydrogen chloride gas are formed in the exhaust gas atmosphere and the waste layer to carry out the removal of said gas efficiently.
CONSTITUTION: The waste incinerator is provided in its furnace shell with an inclined furnace floor due to an inversing grate, and a burner 7 is arranged in the furnace rear wall and a combustion chamber 8 comprising a dry zone A, a combustion zone B and an after combustion zone C. To a waste gas take-out port 15 provided at the ceiling wall of the dry zone A near to a waste supply port 9 there is connected a waste gas treating device 3 consisting of a waste heat boiler 18, a heat exchanger 19 and a dust removing device 20. In this case, on the ceiling wall of a lateral flue part 17b facing a rising flue part 17a of a flue 17 including said treating device 3 there is provided a supply device 22 including a header 24 having a nozzle 23, which device supplies slurry-like calcium compounds to the surface of the furance waste layer.
