Abstract
PURPOSE:To provide a combustion controlling apparatus, which comprises an O2 sensor disposed in a passage for exhausting combustion gas, so as to keep stable combustion of fuel by controlling fuel supply rate and air supply rate on the basis of the output from said O2 sensor. CONSTITUTION:In the main body of combustor, there are provided a burner unit 2, combustion chamber 3, heat exchanger 4 and fan 6 driven by motor 5. In the burner unit 2, there are provided a burner motor 8 coupled with fan 18 for supplying fresh air from air supply pipe 7, a rotatable member 10 connected to the motor 8 for spraying fuel supplied from fuel pipe 9, burner 11 and burner head 12. Further, an O2 sensor 13 is fixed to a portion of circumferential wall of combustion chamber 3 in the manner that top of the sensor 13 protrudes into combusion chamber 3. Fuel is supplied to the fuel pipe 9 from a fuel tank disposed on the outside of main body 1 via leveller 14 and pump 15. In the above arrangement, rate of excessive air is controlled at a proper value on the basis of output from the O2 sensor 13.
