Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide electrically strong insulation by winding insulating tapes and heat shrinking tapes around a conducting member one over the other in layers and subsequently heating the conducting member.
CONSTITUTION: Around a conducting member comprising a conducting coil 5 and a cooling tube 4 attached thereto is provided an insulting tape layer 8 consisting of insulated tapes which have been impregnated with a binding agent. Around the layer 8 is provided a thermal-shrinking tape layer 9 consisting of thermal-shrinked tapes. Further the layers 8 and 9 are alternately put one over the other to form a plurality of layers, with the thermal-shrinking tape layer as the outermost layer. When the conducting coils 5 draw current or heated liquid is passed in the cooling tube 4 and consequently the conducting member is heated, the insulating layer is heated from inside, resulting to cause gradual hardening from inside to outer side. Thus, the insulating layer as a whole is sufficiently strong and becomes uniformly hardened and firmly adhered to the conducting coils.
