Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a movement controlling device according to which the position of a bonder can be adjusted from a remote point by providing an arrangement of a grip planely movable to optional directions and two rotary encoders movable to the X and Y directions in association with the grip.
CONSTITUTION: Within a base frame 1, are securely fixed a pair of bearings 2, 3 apart from each other, and thereto securely fitted shafts 5, 6 of a carrier 4 to be allowed to freely rotate. An X-direction rotary encoder 7 is securely fitted to the carrier 4, while a Y-direction rotary encoder 8 to the base frame 1 so as to meet the encoder 7 at right angles, a shaft 9 thereof being fixed to the shaft 6 of the carrier 4 by means of a flexible coupling 10. One end of a right-angled coupling member 11 is securely fitted to a shaft 12 of the encoder 7, while the other end to a vertical post 13, on top of which is mounted a grip 16 with a spherical member 15 provided inbetween, to be allowed to free plane movement. According to this device, pulses are brought about by moving the grip to control a bonder table.
