Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide channel indicating element of good lock in favor of channel operator when he tries to change channel, although it is usually dark enough to attract no attention of television observers, in such a way that brightness of indicating element is increased at the time when channel is operated.
CONSTITUTION: Because no channel operating signal 6 is usually added, pulses from grating voltage control circuit 3 have been made less than that of duty factor on account of NAND-circuit 9, integrator circuit 10, and AND-circuit 12 so that brightness of indicating tube 4 in kept in relatively dark condition. When channel is operated, time signal of low level which is determined by resistor 7 and capacitor 8 is added to NAND-circuit 9 so as to increase output of AND-circuit 12 upto the level of duty factor which level is equal to pulse signal of grating voltage control circuit 3, resulting that brightness of indicating tube 4 is increased for a predetermined time.
