Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a durable stick made of a metal, by charging a molten resin from a runner of a mold after fitting a projected section of a supporter into the tip of a bent section of the main body, and securing the main body by inserting supporting pins, being provided on the inner face of the mold, into corresponding holes.
CONSTITUTION: One end of a main body 1 which is made of a metal tube and is cut at a proper length, is bent into a U shape to form a bent section 1' therein a projected section 5 of a spherical supporter 3 is fitted. Further, two holes 4 being provided in the supporter 3 and facing each other in the radius direction, are fitted into supporting pins 7 being located on the inner surface of a groove 6', which comforms to the outline of a handle 2, in a split die 6. Then the bent section 1' is secured between the supporting pins 7 and a gate 8 of the split die 6. Then a molten plastic is charged through a runner 9 of the split die, thereby, a metal stick is obtained.
