Abstract

PURPOSE: A sublimable fungicide and antiseptic easily handleable and usable for a wide area, having adjustable sublimation rate, comprising a fungicidal and/or an antiseptic substance on a carrier, e.g. a sublimable hydrocarbon such as adamantane.
CONSTITUTION: A fungicide and antiseptic comprising (A) 0.1W20 wt.% of a fungicidal and/or an antiseptic substance, e.g. a p-hydroxybenzoate, p-chlorometaxylenol, or α-bromocinnamic aldehyde, having sublimability or volatility, and (B) a sublimable carrier, e.g. adamantane, endo-trimethylenenorbornene, or cyclododecane. The liquid fungicidal and/or antiseptic substance can be handled in the form of a solid.
