Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:A compound of formula I: (R is 1W4C alkyl group).
USE: Antitumor agents having antibacterial activities, useful as an intermediate for pharmaceuticals and pesticides.
PROCESS: A compound of formula II in an alcohol is condensed with an isocyanate of formula III with stirring for 1W5hr to form an intermediate, which is preferably isolated, and nitrosated to give the objective compound of formula I. Alternatively, a solution of a compound of formula IV in THF is slowly added dropwise to a solution of a compound of formula II in an alcohol, and stirred at room temperature for 1W5hr.
