Abstract
PURPOSE: To ensure that both air amount and fuel amount can be changed at the same time by the adjustment of adjusting members while keeping an optimal fuel- air ratio by arranging a pair of spaced adjusting members in an air passage and communicating the interior of the air passage between the adjusting members with the interior of a leveler through a boosting pipe.
CONSTITUTION: The interior of a plenum chamber 4 integrally connected with a burner 1 is partitioned by a partition board 5 into a primary plenum chamber 4a and a secondary plenum chamber 4b. The chamber 4b is communicated with an air feed port 3 of the burner 1; the chamber 4a is fitted therein with a motor 6 and a suction fan 7 and communicated with an outside-air suction port 8; and the chambers 4a and 4b are communicated with each other through a communication pipe 9. Main and fine adjusting members 16 and 17 each consisting of a damper for adjusting the air flow through the pipe 9 are spacedly arranged in the pipe 9, the former 16 on the upstream side of the latter 17. The interior of the pipe 9 between the adusting members 16 and 17 is communicated with the interior of a leveler 14 through a boosting pipe 18, in such a manner as to apply the air pressure to the fuel in the leveler and thereby to vary the fuel feed amount.
