Abstract
PURPOSE: To simplify a method of adjusting a position detector and prevent the detector from exposure by interlocking the output shafts of intermediate and neutron source regions monitor drive mechanism to the driven shaft of a position detector counter and forming the counter with decimal plural counter advancing 10 steps at one revolution.
CONSTITUTION: The output of intermediate region (IRM) and neutron source region (SRM) drive motor 1 is transmitted through a reduction gear 2 to an output shaft 3, which drives respective monitors and at which a sprocket 4 is mounted to drive the sprocket 8 of a driven shaft 7 of a position detecting counter 6 via a chian 5. The counter 6 having decimal 3-digit counter advancing 10 steps at one revolution incorporates electric contacts at the respective steps of the digits. The upper and lower limits of the IRM and SRM strokes can be freely adjusted by altering the contacts on a control panel. Since the operations of the IRM and SRM can be directly read in one inch unit by suitably selecting the procket ratio, it can shorten the adjusting time and reduce the exposing amount.
