PURPOSE:To make reliable recording and reproduction possible with stable contact between a magnetic disk and floppy disk by positioning the floppy disk near magnetic heads. CONSTITUTION:The upmost part of the circumferential surface of reference roller 1 serves as a reference surface for the height-directional determination of floppy disk 15, and the lowermost part of the circumferential surface of pressure roller 2 operates as a depression surface to floppy disk 15. Then, both rollers 1 and 2 are extremely close to magnetic heads 3 and 4, so that even if floppy disk 15 would deform flexuously as shown by dotted lines 15' and 15'', relative positioning between magnetic heads 3 and 4 and floppy disk 15 will corectively maintained. In this way, stable contact between magnetic heads and floppy disk can be secured.
