Abstract
PURPOSE: To provide the subject method of using piece materials for mounting a groundsill of a channel sectional shape, having elliptic bolt holes thereby to improve the workability upon mounting a groundsill on a foundation.
CONSTITUTION: A groundsill mounting piece material 3 having elliptic holes 4 is fastened by screws to an anchor bolt 2 projected from a foundation 1 at a predetermined position by means of nuts 5, and a groundsill 6 made of a channel bar is fitted in said groundsill mounting piece material 3. Even in the case where the position accuracy of the anchor bolt 2 projected from the foundation 1 is poor, since the anchor bolt inserting holes of the groundsill mounting piece material 3 are elliptic, the groundsill mounting piece material 3 can be mounted accurately at predetermined positions of the foundation. Accordingly, it may be sufficient if the groundsill 6 is fitted in the piece material by neglecting the position error of the anchor bolt 2, and thus the groundsill 6 may be accurately and easily fitted to the predetermined positions of the foundation 1.
