Abstract

PURPOSE: To utilize solar heat efficiently by removably and replaceably arranging lens close to the light irradiation end face of a light-transmitting pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A light-transmitting pipe 5 provided with at least one light irradiation end face 4 inside a base 3 is connected to the light irradiation end of a light- transmitting pipe 2 connected with a light collector 1. A lens 6 (either for focusing or for diffusion) is held close to each light irradiation end face 4 by a holder 7. The holder 7 together with the lens(es) 6 may be replaced by another holder 7 fitted with desired lens(es) 6 so as to obtain a desired focal distance. The surrounding of each lens 6 is a drooped body 8 having a reflector mirror on the inside surface. A body to be heated is mounted on the base 3 and heated.
