Abstract
PURPOSE: To stabilize bias control even through remote operation by using a simple current control element.
CONSTITUTION: One terminal of resistance 3 is connected to a reference power supply held at the earth potential through seires-connected transistor 4 and resistance 5 so as to control the main current through transistor 4 by variable voltage supply 6. In the above-mentioned constitution, setting the base potential of transistor 4 corresponding to a desired bias potential results in that the collector-emitter main current corresponds to the base potential. Further, this main current causes voltage drops across resistances 2, 3 and 5 respectively and the base potential of the transistor can therefore be brought under the variable control of the potential at the output terminal. In this case, the base input impedance of transistor 4 is hardly set high, so that a connected smoothing capacitor of small capacity can easily prevent a bad influence of a noise, etc., upon an output signal.
