Abstract

PURPOSE: To take out a detection voltage having no temperature drift dependent upon DC components by taking out only signal components by a differential amplifier which is formed by PNP transistors.
CONSTITUTION: A synchronizing negative-polarity video signal obtained by clamping the leading edge of a periodic signal is applied to the bases of the PNP transistors 17 and 18, and the voltage of the power source 5 having the same potential as the leading edge of the synchronizing signal is applied to the bases of the PNP transistors 16 and 19, and a collector current proportional to the magnitude of the synchronizing signal is flowed to the transistor 19 through the switch 4, which is turned on in a pedestal period by a gate pulse, and the resistance 15 in the pedestal period. Consequently, a current proportional to the video signal from a differential amplifier dependent upon the transistors 16, 17, 18 and 19 and a current proportional to the synchronizing signal are flowed to the resistance 15, and a detection voltage having no temperature drift dependent upon CD components is taken out from the peak detection circuit 3 by the addition current of them.
