CONSTITUTION: Yarn 9 drawn from a creel is taken up by a beam 1 through front roller 10 equipped with a solenoid brake 11. As the yarn diameter increases, the yarn layer stops up holes 4 one by one, which gradually reduces light coming in a phototube 5. Light received is introduced to a control box 7 through an amplifier 6. The revolution at this moment is detected by a tachometer 8 and memorized in the control box 7. The tension of the twist yarn 9 at the time of warping is regulated through control of the solenoid brake 11 to adjest winding diameter.
