Abstract

PURPOSE: To omit the operation based on the readings by giving inversion to the display of the digital electric micrometer with an appropriate pitch and then displaying directly the indication value in the form of the error.
CONSTITUTION: Dial gauge 1 is fixed to stand 2 so that the pointer may be set close to zero. The zero scale is memorized in the computer with push of set button 15 after resetting the counter to zero by reset button 18. After this, micrometer 3 is turned while looking at the gauge pointer. And if the pointer points 0.1mm, the readings of that moment is displayed at the counter as the error of gauge 1 at that position. Thus this value is memorized in the computer with push of button 15. In such way, the error of each point is measured and memorized, and then the narrow range adjacent error, the retrogressive error and others are calculated by the computer for recording.
