Abstract

CONSTITUTION: The amount of tape running is electrically displayed on the display unit 8 with the Hall elements 3,4 detecting the revolution of the rewinding reel stand 1, discrimination circuit 5 comparing the phase of detected pulse of the elements 3,4, and detecting the direction of rotation of the stand 1, and up and down counter 6 counting reversibly the detected pulse of the element 5. When the switch S1 is closed and the counter 6 is reset at desired tape position, the logic discrimination circuit 10 selects the rewinding state into stop state. Then, the tape stops after over run and the amount of over run is displayed on the display unit 8 via the counter 6.
