Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible to accomplish the analysis of excellent reproductivity efficiently with the use of electro-phoresis by combining the longitudinally divided portions thereby to produce a liquid-tight thin tube.
CONSTITUTION: As shown in transverse section, a thin tube is composed of semicircular tube halves 51 and 52, which are divided in the longitudinal direction, and the faces to be jointed are finished so precisely as to prevent a buffering agent from stealing into the inside of the tube when the assembly is made. Incidentally, it is preferred that the shape of the faces is so combined of rough surfaces as is shown at 53 and 53. After the aforementioned divided portions are combined into a thin tube, this tube is inserted into a tube of vinyl chrolide resin of themally shrinking property, and the assembly is heated to make the resin tube shrink thereby to fix the divided portion of the thin tube in a manner not to be divided, thus providing the thin tube for measurements.
