Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a device capable of easily acting both as an electronic calculator and a lighter by eliminating adverse effect on the circuit of the calculator due to noise signal developed from a high voltage generating means of the lighter while minimizing the power consumption.
CONSTITUTION: When a gas opening/closing plate 20 is moved upward, a nozzle 22 is raised to allow fuel gas to inject, while a switch terminal 21a and a contact terminal 21b on a switch 21 are respectively brought into contact with a contact plate 23 and an OFF contact 16. A working clearance is so arranged that this action follows the contact and separation between the switch terminal 21a and the contact plate 23 and the contact terminal 21b and the OFF terminal 16. Therefore, while the ignition circuit is at work, signals are continuously inputted to the OFF terminal 16. This keeps the OFF signal from turning to ON level even though any noise from the ignition circuit is picked up by the arithmetic circuit of the electronic calculator and power supply circuit section of the indication circuit. In addition, even if entering other terminals, any noise signal won't cause malfuctioning otherwise disturbing the subsequent use of the electronic calculator because of the OFF signal invariably working.
