Abstract

PURPOSE: To suppress outer radiation of higher harmonics without using special added articles, by fitting, in coaxial form, a metal exhaust tube having a depth of about 1/4 of the wave length of an arbitrary specific higher harmonics, at the top of an output antenna rod.
CONSTITUTION: At the top end of an insulstion cylinder body 18 which projects outward from an anode body 13, a metal exhaust pipe 42 is sealing-fixed through a sealing ring 41, and an output antenna rod 22 is inserted in coaxial form inside the exhaust pipe. The exhaust pipe 42 is set in coaxial form along the output antenna 22, so as to have the dimension of depth l3 in the direction of connection with the anode vane 12, i.e., from the top end of the opening which extends to the cavity resonator side to the sealing cutting part 43, namely about 1/4 of the wave length of higher harmonics to be obstruct.
