Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve leak-proofing capability by formulating an antirust coating which has its ingredient, such as benzo-thiazole or its derivative on the surface of copper or cupriferous alloy of a cathode collector. CONSTITUTION:Anolytic agent 1, such as argentous oxide into an anode caniser 8, whereupon is installed a separator 2 composed of a micro-porous film 4, a cellophane film 5, a liquid absorptive layer 6. A battery is formed in such a way that a cathode terminal plate 9 as a cathode collector which has catholytic agent 7 filled in is inserted, and hermetically enclosed. A peripheral cuffed part 14 is formed on the cathode terminal plate 9, and a copper layer 13 is installed on the internal side. In addition, an antirust coating 16 taking benzo-thiazole or its derivative as the main ingredient is provided on the side 15 of the copper layer 13 at a gasket 10, the cuffed part 14 which is contiguous to it and in their abuttals.
