Abstract

PURPOSE: To release the displacement of the plural elastic material belts having multiple holes per and improve the resolving power of images by performing exposure cycle upon lapse of a fixed time after the exposure station constituted by said belts has stopped in the intended photographing position.
CONSTITUTION: A photoreceptor 11 is fed to feed rollers 15, sheet by sheet, along paper feed guides 13, 14 by means of a roller 12. The photoreceptor 11 is sent to the intended photographing position on the exposure station 17 through a charging device 16. The exposure station 17 is constituted by a plurality of elastic belts 20 having multiple small holes 19 and is disposed with a suction box 18. The elastic belts 20 are driven by a drive roller 21 and are stopped in the intended photographing position by an electromagnetic clutch 25. Upon lapse of a fixed time after stopping, an exposure lamp 31 lights, thereby forming electrostatic latent images on the photoreceptor 11. After lapse of the exposure time, the photoreceptor 11 is developed 35, dried 36 and discharged.
