Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to obtain stable resonant frequency with easy confirmation of resonant frequency, simplified combination of resonant frequency, and prevention of mistake of number constitution, by giving the mark reprsenting the resonant frequency at the end of piezoelectric substrate. CONSTITUTION:The piezo electric substrate 11 is polished to a given thickness and set to desired resonant frequency. Further, it forms the electrode 12a at the center of substrate and the lead-out terminal 13a is led out toward one end of the substrate 11. At another end of the substrate 11, the mark representing the resonant frequency, e.g., color paint 14 is coated. In the piezoelectric resonator with this constitution, a plurality of sets different in the resonant frequency are selected and combined to constitute it as the resonator group having desired information such as vehicle number. In this case, the resonator has color display corresponding to the resonant frequency. Accordingly, since the confirmation of the resonant frequency can easily be made, the selection and combination in constituting resonant group can be made simply and the mistake in the number constitution of the resonator group can be avoided.
