Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve safety of a burner by previnting backfiring to a fuel supplying portion in case a burner cap and the like is taken off.
CONSTITUTION: A burner is constituted with a burner head 6 and a burner cap 1 being put on the burner head 6, while a rectifying space 7 for supplying gas mixture to flame ports 3 is formed between inner walls of the burner cap 1 and a burner frame 5. In such a burner, a perforated plate 8 consisting of a punching plate having many small hales 9 and so on is mounted in a mixing chamber 14 formed within the inner space of the burner frame 5 by a squeezing and rectifying plate 11, thus, the space in the chamber 14 is divided into a mixed gas supplying space 10, formed between the bottom surface of the burner cap 1 and the perforated plate 8, and a mixing chamber 13 below the perforated plate 8. The space 10 is formed as a space wherein flame is never generated, and thus, prevention of backfire is planned.
