Abstract

PURPOSE: A device which includes a flow controller that controls flow rate for a dust collector and bypass duct freely regulates draft of discharged gas with a draft pressure for the dust collector kept constant.
CONSTITUTION: A discharge duct 11 leads exhaust from a fan 10 to a dust collector 12. A bypass duct 14 a branch from the discharge duct 12 whose one end opens into atmosphere is connected with an electric damper 15 and a flow detector 16. The flow controller 17 regulates opening of the electric damper 15 in accordance with flow rate detected by the flow detector 16. A speed regulator 18 controls rotating speed of the motor 13 of the fan 10 freely. The speed regulator 18 controls revolution of the fan 10 for desired flow rate to keep allowance of resistance in the draft duct. The surplus flow from the duct is fed into the bypass duct so that draft pressure in the dust collector 12 can be kept at constant value and flow rate of discharged gas can be regulated freely.
