Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable the combined optical system to be used both as a wide angle eyepiece lens and a standard eyepiece lens by mounting or dismounting the doublet lens comprising bonding positive and negative lenses as an adapter lens to or from the master lens.
CONSTITUTION: The standard eyepiece lens of good correction of the constitution wherein the doublet lenses I, II comprising cementing of positive and negative lenses are mated and combined face to face on the positive side by taking an air spacing as a master and separately the doublet lens III comprising bonding positive and negative lenses as an adapter lens, are prepared. The adapter lens is removably combined with the aperture side of the master lens with the positive side being mated face to face by taking an air spacing to contitute the combined optical system which is then used as a wide angle eyepiece lens.
