Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable stereoscopic motion pictures to be viewed by using two reflecting mirror means which reflect the film in which left and right images are photographed with rotation of about 90° and the film is viewed through eyepiece lenses, etc by four reflecting mirrors.
CONSTITUTION: The left side images 2 photographed with rotation of 90° on the left side of a stereoscopic motion picture film 1 reflects on the left side first reflecting mirror 3, same second reflecting mirror 4, same third reflecting mirror 5 and same fourth reflecting mirror 6, respectively and enter the left eyes through the left side eyepiece lens 7. The left side images 8 photographed with rotation of 90° on the right side of the film 1 reflects on the right side first reflecting mirror 9, same second reflecting mirror 10, same third reflecting mirror 11 and same fourth reflecting mirror 12, respectively and enter the right eyes through the rigth side eyepiece lens 13. When the respective images reflect in this way, they rotate counterclockwise 90° and therefore the images of the film 1 rotated clockwise 90° are visible as erecting stereoscopic images. In this way, the stereoscopic motion pictures may be viewed.
