Abstract

PURPOSE: To stabilize the operation of an electromagnetic pump and facilitate its machining and assembly without deteriorating the parts fitting frame function and magnetic flux passage forming function of a yoke, by making the yoke of three plates.
CONSTITUTION: The U-shaped yoke 4 comprises a first plate 1, a second plate 2 extending in parallel therewith and a coupling plate 3 engaged with the first and the second plates. The yoke 4 and a housing 5 are secured to each other by the cooperation of the coupling plate 3 with the housing 5. Because the yoke consists of the three members, the operation of the pump is stabilized and its machining and assembly are simplified without deteriorating the parts fitting frame function and magnetic flux passage forming funtion of the yoke.
