Abstract
PURPOSE: To form the dense film in a short time by performing repetitive DC electrolysis with the primary DC electrolysis by a certain voltage and the secondary DC electrolysis by a voltage lower than this as one period at the time of subjecting Mg and Mg alloy to surface treatment by an anodic oxidation method.
CONSTITUTION: The Mg alloy containing Al; 8.6%, Zn; 0.5% is subjected to anodic oxidation treatment in the solution containing NaOH; 240g/l, etylene glycol; 83ml/l, oxalic acid; 2.5g/l. Here, DC electrolysis is performed for 30 minutes with E1=18V, 2 minutes; E2=2V, 0.5 minutes as one period, whereby the even and semi-transparent anodic oxidation film of a silver white color is obtained.
