Abstract

PURPOSE: To speed transmission velocity and to enhance the response of valve control by contacting a push rod to a wax admixed with a reaction accelerator through a diaphragm.
CONSTITUTION: A first idle cam 7 is connected to a push rod 10 through a connecting rod 8 and a lever 9, and is rotated by the displacement of the push rod 10, the latter being displaced by a temperarure-sensitive element 11. The element 11 is fitted in a stud 12, and the back face of the stud 12 is fitted with a PTC electric resistor 13. Since the element 11 consists of a wax 27, the volume change of the wax 27 takes place rapidly, to improve response.
