Abstract

PURPOSE:To use a normal VTR to multiple sound surely by swithcing the duty cycle of control pulses of a magnetic tape according to multiple kinds. CONSTITUTION:When one and the other of terminals 9 and 10 of monostable multivibrator 2 are made high-level and low-level, multivibrator 2 traiggerred by oscillator 1 generates pulses of three different kinds of duty cycle. When these pulses are recorded on the control track of the magnetic tape of a VTR as stereophonic and monophonic sound discrimination isgnals, the VTR is controlled by equivalent control signals and information idicating multiple kinds is obtined by the duty cycle ration of reproducing control pulses at a reproducing time, and therefore, the normal VTR is used to record and reproduce multiple information surely without exchange of parts, etc.
