Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the phase rapid change of phase reference signals for servo at an external and internal reference signal switching time by subjecting external and internal reference signals to OR addition to form phase reference signals for servo.
CONSTITUTION: External vertical synchronizing signals are applied to adder 7 through gate 6, and internal vertical signals outputted from internal reference signal generator 4 using crystal oscillator 3 are applied to adder 7. Both signals are subjected to OR processing, and their phases become near to each other gradually, and a phase reference signal for servo is generated from adder 7 at every four vertical synchronizing signals. Consequently, the phase rapid change of phase reference signals for servo of a VTR, etc., can be prevented at an external and internal reference signal switching time. As a result, video recording, etc., can be edited well.
