Abstract

PURPOSE: To make possible automatic cutoff of power supply upon ending of photographing by releasing the holding of power supply by the output of a timer for performing defining operation of a longer time than the operation time of an exposure control circuit.
CONSTITUTION: When the shutter is opened by the second state operation of a release button and a switch 3 is turned OFF and a switch 15, ON, then power supply to a timer circuit is accomplished. Also a transistor TR 12 goes ON to hold the power supply to the shutter circuit. In addition, charging to a capacitor 25 is accomplished. Thereafter, exposure ends in the time corresponding to the subject luminance. On the other hand, if the timer operation time is beforehand selected according to photographing modes by a changeover switch 24, the TR 26 of the timer circuit inverts to ON and TR 27 to OFF by the time constant thereof and after a fixed time, the TR 12 goes OFF, putting the circuit in a stop state. Hence, the power supply to the shutter circuit is automatically cut off after said operation time.
