Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the surface of pickling hot rolling steel product beautiful, by carrying out chemical descaling by acid in acid solution and mechanical descaling by acid resisting and heat resisting brushing roll at the same time. CONSTITUTION:The strip 1 is entered the pickling vessel 3 after bending several times by the scale breaker 2.The acid solution 4 is filled in each vessel 3 and mechanical descaling is carried out by the acid and heat resisting brushing roll 5 arranged inside and outside of the strip 1 alternately, dipping in the solution 4. The backup roll 6 is provided on the opposite side of each roll 5 and the strip 1 is able to pressurize sufficiently by the roll 5. The roll 5 is able to be rotated in each normal or reverse direction by driving motor through the universal joint. Lastely, the strip 1 is washed with hot water and is dried through the hot rinse vessel 9 and the drier 10 after carrying out pickling.
