Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the accuracy and response of a temperature measuring element by filling grease-like filler in space between a thermocouple inserting hole and a thermocouple to thereby improve the thermal conductivity between the mold and the thermocouple.
CONSTITUTION: Grease-like filler (such as, for example, refractory silicon grease, aluminum powder-contained reflactory compound or the like) 37 having predetermined thermal conductivity is filled in a thermocouple inserting hole 29a and a push screw 36a, then a thermocouple 29 is inserted thereinto, and the hole 29a is blocked by a pulg screw 33 to thereby seal the filler 37. A push screw 34 is engaged within the screw 36a to thereby urge the temperature measuring element of the thermocouple 29 into the wall surface of the hole 29a.
