Abstract

PURPOSE: To positively prevent the separation of round tire from the wheel with a projected ring shaped like a nipple in the crosssection fixed on the wheel fitted into a recess so formed on the bead seat on both sides of the wheel by tightly wrapping thereof with a ring body.
CONSTITUTION: A projected ring 2 containing a reinforcing material 6 is integral molded by vulcanization on the outer side of beads along both sides of a round ture. On the other hand, the wheel 3 is provided on both sides thereof with a bead seat 4 having the other surface made concave like an arc and at the outer end with a section for housing a ring body 5 so as to fix the ring 2 into the bead seat 4. The widthwise inner side 5a of the ring body 5 is matched to the shape of the widthwise outer side of the projected ring 2 while the inner diameter side 5b thereof is made fit to the arc-shaped section of the outside of the bead seat 4. A stepped section 5c is formed on the outerdiameter side thereof. With such an arrangement, the round tire can be fixed to the wheel 3 on both sides thereof thereby positiviely preventing the separation of the round tire 1 from the wheel 3.
