Abstract

PURPOSE: A lubricant grease composition that contains, as a thickener, a specific complex from synthetic inorganic particles of lamellar structure and a quarternary ammonium salt, thus being prolonged in the lubrication life at high temperatures.
CONSTITUTION: A synthetic inorganic substance of lamellar structure as sodium tetrasilicic mica or sodium taeniolite, which is obtained by mixing silica, magnesia, and fluorides at a specific molar ratio and melting at about 1350W1400°C, is dispersed in water to form about 0.5W0.7% hydrated sol.
