Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate the overhead of the interruption analysis by exchanging the control codes showing the state of the processors only in case the transmission request occurs at either processor among those which are connected via the two-way transmission line.
CONSTITUTION: In accordance with occurrence of the transmission request, processor 10 selects status register 12 and data output circuit 19 through selector 11 and informs via data output control unit 18 the state of its own to the remote processor. Then the status transmission given from the remote processor is examined at data input control unit 20, and the access is made possible through selector 11 for status register 13 and data input device 21. Thus the state of the remote processor is stored in register 13. The status exchange is carried out in such way, and thus the synchronism is obtained between the both processors along with a comparison given to the contents of both registers 12 and 13. And the data is transferred only in case the processor has the transmission data along with the remote processor being ready for reception of the data. In this way, the overhead can be eliminated for the interruption analysis.
