Abstract

PURPOSE: To dehydrate and convey the screen dregs and the like by a single machine and enhance dehydration efficiency through the mechanism wherein the screen dregs and the like supplied from a hopper is transferred into a connected cylindrical conveyor apparatus while pressed within a dehydration device and the separated water is discharged from a drain hole provided at a conveyor apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: The screen dregs and the like from a hopper 1 is transferred into a conveyor apparatus 3 through a gate 7 while pressed by a piston 26 which slides into a screw 2a in a dehydration apparatus 2. The separated water is collected in a chute 4 from a drain hole 3 provided to a conveyor apparatus 3 and introduced to a sewage treating apparatus and the like. The screen dregs dehydrated to a predetermined water content is discharged from the leading edge of a conveyor apparatus into a hopper 5.
