Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the captioned photosensitive material which has the spectral absorption characteristics suited for subtractive color process color reproduction and with less contents of silver halide and superior stability and by which yellow pigment images may be obtained by containing the acetamide type yellow color forming couplers having the specific substituents. CONSTITUTION:The acetamide type yellow color forming couplers which are expressed by general formula (R<1> is alkyl, alkenyl; R<2> is aryl, heterocycles; Z is non- metal atoms required for forming 5-membered rings and 6-membered rings together with formula II) and whose alpha-position is substituted by diacyl amino groups and aliphatic acyl groups such as the ones shown by, e.g., formula III, are dissolved in an orgnaic solvent and the solution is dispersed in a photographic emulsion in micro-colloidal particle form. the emulsion thus prepared is incorporated into the photosensitive material. As the use amount of the abovementioned couplers, it is desirable to add about 0.02 to 1 molar ratio to the silver halide in the emulsion.
