Abstract

PURPOSE: To finely cut used tires into pebble shape, press and mold the same together with a bonding agent thereby to utilize the same into materials for use in road materials, floor and walls.
CONSTITUTION: Used waste tires are cut finely into pebble shapes of about 1W2mm in diameter, for example, to form a minutely cut tire 1. Then, the tire 1 is charged and agitated in a bonding agent such as a raw rubber liquid, and the bonding agent is sprinkled over the minutely cut tire 1. Then, the tire is pressed in a desired mold 3, and heated and vulcanized to bond and mold the tire into a desired product 4.
EFFECT: Since this method does not require any burning treatment, no problem as to the industrial pollution such as malodors occurs.
