Abstract

PURPOSE: To make the supply of out going voltage and initial stage acceleration voltage operable from a single power source, by applying a middle stage output of the multi-stage Cockcroft-Walton's circuit to the first anode, and by applying the final stage output of the second anode through a constant voltage circuit.
CONSTITUTION: A high frequency voltage fed from an oscillator 3, through insulating transformers 4, is inputted to the multi-stage Cockcroft-Walton's circuit 7, with an output voltage of its middle stage applied to between an emitter E and a first anode P1, and an output voltage of its final stage applied to between the emitter E and a second anode P2 through the constant voltage circuit consisting of a drop resistor 8 and a constant voltage element 9. In this way, the both of a variable outgoing voltage and a constant initial stage acceleration voltage can be fed from a single power source.
