Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to control simultaneously output operarions of an in-phase amplifier and out-of-phase amplifires corresponding to the output of a differential amplifier circuit, by connecting two resistance elements between output terminals of both amplifiers in series and then by inputting a voltage at a series- connection point of those resistance elements and a fixed voltage to the differential amplifier circuit. CONSTITUTION:Signals outoutted from input signal source 5 are supplied to input terminals of in-phase ampifier 7 and out-of-phase amplifier 8 in parallel through coupling capacitor 6. Between output terminals of both amplifiers 7 and 8, speaker 9 is connected, in addition to resistances 10 and 11 equal in resistance value and series-connected in parallel to speaker 9. A voltage at a connection point of resistances 10 and 11 is applied to one input terminal of control circuit 12 applied with reference voltage Vref at the other input terminal. This circuit 12 makes a comparison between voltages applied to both input terminals and then controls simultaneously output operations of amplifiers 7 and 8 in accordance with the comparison result. As a result, the amplifier circuit can be protected without using outer components.
